Festivals feature dancers, old-time baseball, yummy food

Traditionally, Labor Day weekend is jampacked with some of the most popular and interesting events of the season.
Although they’ve been around awhile — one event is in its 122nd year — several festivals have added fresh twists to the traditional offerings, ranging from new menu items to quirky events and innovative ways to tap into the competitive spirit.

Be My Neighbor: 5XNW Edition

Tucked between Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington, is a slice of Columbus called Fifth by Northwest. We lovingly call it 5xNW. You may never have heard of us – most people assume our neighborhood is part of Grandview. The truth is much of what you love about Grandview is technically in Fifth by Northwest (The Clay Café, Trattoria Roma, Rotolo’s, King Avenue 5, Bono Pizza, theChocolate Café, Woodlands Tavern, Grow Yoga, Fresco Furnishings just to name a few).

Housing Trends: Sprawl or Not ?

Let’s not pronounce sprawl dead just yet.  Compared at least to the last five years, things might even get a little worse before they get better.  But the resurgence in strong- and (in some cases) mid-market city living is real, and downtown living, working, and shopping displaces what would otherwise be sprawl.
