Lineage Brewing Opening Soon in Clintonville

As winter slowly melts away and Columbus ushers in springtime, Clintonville will soon be welcoming its first local brewery and brewpub. Lineage Brewing, headed by four Clintonville residents, is slated to open at the beginning of April.

Gallery Hop Celebrates 30th Anniversary

If you want to show off Columbus to visitors from out of town, there’s no better time and place to do it than the first Saturday of the month in The Short North during Gallery Hop. The monthly tradition is one of the most definitive experiences in Columbus where thousands of residents crowd onto the sidewalks to take in the city’s best art, culture, food, shopping and entertainment. And that monthly tradition is celebrating a special milestone on Saturday, October 4th as the event series turns 30 years old.

Gallery Hop wasn’t always as well known as it is today though. In fact, the very first try was basically a failure.

Traditionally, Labor Day weekend is jampacked with some of the most popular and interesting events of the season.

Although they’ve been around awhile — one event is in its 122nd year — several festivals have added fresh twists to the traditional offerings, ranging from new menu items to quirky events and innovative ways to tap into the competitive spirit.

This is neat. For me a COTA Bus is 6 houses away. The #4 bus takes me downtown in about 15 minutes. The the CBUS Circulator is available to go anywhere: The cultural Arts center, the brewery district or a lunch out. All without worry about parking or traffic.

A quick lunch or No Stress visit to Downtown, the Brewery District or Short North on the CBus Circulator
