Largest Architecture Firm in The US Launches Columbus Offices

It was announced last fall that HOK Architecture, the largest US-based architecture-engineering firm, would be acquiring Kansas City based 360 Architecture, which has maintained a sizable Columbus office in the Arena District since 1999. Today, the completion of the acquisition is being celebrated locally, which means that HOK has officially launched its Columbus branch.

Marysville’s reservoir to gain boat, fishing access

Marysville has been awarded more than $400,000 to add recreational opportunities, including boating and fishing access, to a reservoir that supplies about half of the city’s drinking water.
The $427,250 grant is from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and will be used for the Marysville Upground Reservoir project. The reservoir, built in 2008, is at the southwest corner of Barker and Raymond roads.

Work to begin on 'most expensive Taco Bell in the country'

The renovation of outlots at the Westerville Square Shopping Center took another step toward completion last month, when the Westerville Planning Commission approved one of the most expensiveTaco Bell restaurants in the country.
The fancy new brick Taco Bell will replace the closed old stucco Taco Bell at 26 E. Schrock Road, on an outlot at the south side of the center with frontage directly on Schrock.

The new 53,000 square foot Ohio Veterans Memorial will feature museum exhibition space honoring the 250 years of Ohio military service from over 900,000 Ohio veterans. The main floor includes a great hall, museum store, cafe space and other places for educational programming. The upper portion of the building will feature an exterior “civic room” for special events, ceremonies and other community uses.
