Horse riding instills confidence in Area Special Needs Children

Willow Ridge Therapeutic Riding Facility is a nonprofit equine establishment in Plain City for young people with special needs.
Horses, as Willow Ridge founder Pam Bosch knows, have special powers: a calming presence; a means for improving balance, posture and core strength; a way to draw quiet children out of their shells.
And, with the guidance of teachers, the facility offers a haven for youngsters who might have limited exposure to animals or lack the means to pursue outdoor hobbies independently.
